What do we do with your information?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
 
How do we use your information?
Data regulations mean that we are allowed to use and share your personal information only where we have specific and proper reason to do so. As such, we use your information in a number of different ways:

We’ll also monitor your browsing activity with our website to help us to quickly identify and resolve any problems and protect the integrity of our website. We’ll do this all as part of our legitimate interest.

  • To process payments and to prevent fraudulent transactions We do this on the basis of our legitimate business interests and to protect our customers from fraud.

  • With your explicit consent, to send you personalised communications by email in relation to news and offers from Karrla. We do this on the basis of consent. (You can opt out of our email communications at any time using the relevant links in our email newsletters).

  • To send you communications that are required by law or which are necessary to inform you about changes to the services we provide to you. For example, updates to our policies, product recall notices, and legally required information in relation to your orders.

  • To administer any promotions which you enter based on your explicit consent at the time of entering.

  • For market research purposes, to better understand the needs of our customers.

  • To comply with our contractual or legal obligations to share data with law enforcement.

What are your rights over your personal data?
You have a number of rights relating to the use of your personal information on www.karrla.com:

  • The right to be informed about how your personal information is being used by the website.

  • The right to access the personal information we hold about you.

  • The right to request the correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you (although you can action most of this through your online account).

  • The right to request that we delete your data, or stop processing it or collecting it, in some circumstances.

  • The right to stop direct marketing messages, and to withdraw consent for other consent-based processing at any time.

  • The right to request that we transfer elements of your data either to you or another service provider.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?
If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at info@karrla.com

Data Owner Application Form for Personal Data
The data owner Karrla (Karrla Textile and Trade Limited Company) has rights to keep personal datas as mentioned in article 11 of Personal Data Protection Law no: 6698;

(i) find out whether or not Personal Data has been processed, (ii) request information if Personal Data has been processed, (iii) learn the purpose of processing Personal Data and whether the data is used for its purpose, (iv) learn from third parties to whom the Personal Data has been transferred, (v) Have the right to request modification of Personal Data if it is incomplete or incorrect, and request that it be notified to third parties to whom the Personal Data has been transferred; and (vi) to claim damages due to the processing of Personal Data in violation of the Law; and complaints will be responded and resolved by the Karrla as soon as possible.
In this context, Data Holders may submit their requests and complaints electronically to info@karrla.com or mail to Karrla office address with the attached Application Form. Identity check will be performed before approval of the application form.

Taking into account the Karrla Personal Data Protection and Processing Policy aapplications shall be replied as soon as possible and without any additional cost to the Data Holder, provided that the request is applied within 30 days.
According to the law, the Data Holder is entitled to apply within thirty days from the date on which the Karrla has learned the answer, and in any event within sixty days from the date of the first application.

Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. Credit card information from users is never kept on the servers of www.karrla.com or the companies serving it in order to keep the security of our valuable users shopping at the site at the highest level. In this way, all transactions for payment are made between the bank and your computer via the www.karrla.com interface.

Security

Our site uses software to provide high level encryption technology. We will never contact you by email to ask you to send or confirm any personal details without first verifying your identity and your willingness to do so. We may contact you to confirm order cancellations or to secure an order. Never send any sensitive information such as passwords or credit card information by email. Where you have created an account and password you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.
